A percentage needs context
Searches for research use only peptides 98% purity often focus on a simple threshold. A percentage needs an analytical method, batch identifier and definition before it can inform a purchasing decision. It is not a substitute for identity or a guarantee of suitability.
Content and purity are distinct
Nominal package quantity, assay content and chromatographic purity describe different attributes. A supplier should be able to say which attribute a value represents and where the corresponding evidence appears.
Avoid portfolio-wide assumptions
A test for one batch does not establish every future batch or every product in a catalog. Blends and non-peptide research materials introduce different documentation questions. Do not transfer one item’s result to a different identity or presentation.
Write the requirement before comparing offers
Record the required attribute, acceptable evidence and intended institutional research context. Ask the supplier to confirm whether the quoted batch meets that requirement. Our catalog intentionally leaves unverified analytical numbers out of public product tables.
